THAI MASSAGE

Ancient Techniques for Modern Wellness

About Thai Massage

Thai massage balances the body's energy, often referred to as "Sen lines" or energy pathways. By manipulating these energy lines through acupressure, stretching, and rhythmic movements, Thai massage aims to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit.

The Benefits of Thai Massage

Stress Relief And Relaxation

The rhythmic movements and mindful techniques used in Thai massage help reduce stress and induce a deep state of relaxation, promoting mental clarity and emotional well-being.

Enhanced Circulation

The combination of compression and stretching improves blood flow and lymphatic drainage, boosting the body's natural ability to heal and detoxify.

Pain Reduction

Targeting specific pressure points and muscle groups, Thai massage alleviates chronic pain, tension headaches, and muscle stiffness, providing relief from everyday aches and pains.

Holistic Well-Being

Thai massage harmonizes the body's energy pathways, or "Sen lines," balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual health for overall well-being.

Improved Flexibility
and Mobility

By stretching and manipulating the body, Thai massage enhances flexibility and range of motion, making it an excellent therapy for athletes and those with sedentary lifestyles.

Boosted Immune System

The enhanced circulation and relaxation effects of Thai massage support the body's natural immune function, making it more efficient at fighting off illnesses.

About Triinu

I am a certified Thai Massage therapist. I have practiced yoga since 2008 and started teaching in 2018. My practice has deepened my passion for body and mind and its synergy and connections. I met Thai massage through the practice of yoga. These 2 techniques have a direct connection because Thai Massage is born from the discipline of yoga and takes it to a different level of deepness and relaxation. My growing interest and will to serve others in their path took me to study Thai massage. I have studied at Noam Chi studio in Israel. Noam has been a great teacher and therapist for more than 25 years. He has studied with many teachers in Thailand, Burma, China, and other Asian locations.

Techniques Used in Thai Massage

Accupressure

Practitioners apply pressure to specific points along the body's Sen lines. This pressure helps to release blockages, improve energy flow, and stimulate the body's natural healing processes.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep, targeted pressure is applied to muscles and connective tissues to relieve chronic muscle tension and pain. This technique helps in breaking down adhesions (knots) and improving muscle function.

Assisted Stretching

Borrowing from yoga postures, Thai massage incorporates guided stretching. These stretches improve flexibility, enhance joint mobility, and release muscle tension. It is often referred to as "lazy man's yoga" since the practitioner performs the stretches while the client remains passive.

Rhythmic Compression

The therapist uses palms, thumbs, elbows, and feet to apply gentle, rhythmic pressure along the body. This helps stimulate circulation, promote relaxation, and ease muscular tension

Joint Mobilization

Gentle rocking and manipulation of joints help to improve joint health and mobility. This technique is particularly beneficial for individuals with joint stiffness or arthritis
